Karitè Women Together

Cesar is working to implement a project concerning South Sudanese women emancipation, claimed the first time during the 8th March demonstration in Rumbek.

Cesar accepted this challenge through the “Women Together” project. Women together with a specific aim: emancipate their selves through work to make better their lives and their children lives.

In South Sudan there are age-old trees which produce a fruit called “Lulu” that European women usually use as beauty treatment. From “lulu” you can obtain the Shea butter, the main ingredients in many cosmetic products.

In South Sudan there is a large amount of lulu and women use this product to treat injuries, for their hairs but also to cook.

Sisters of the Diocese of Rumbek are to going to train women on Shea butter production and Cesar, in Italy, has studied a project to distribute this Sudanese cream.

This project aimed to sell the Shea butter into most Italian squares in the near future.

The proceeds of this selling will contribute to implanting project dedicated to Sudanese women so that they could assure an education to their children and to make better their family life.
